Louis started his early YouTube career at 4 years old for a laugh after the children pestering me constantly to borrow the laptop. I soon learnt my lesson as watching it back I saw quite innocent footage in their eyes yet could have caused inappropriate and unwanted attention. Sad but that’s the way the world is. Here is Louis first video which I find hilarious only because I know he adores his sister and would never really say anything that would hurt her, I find her reaction just as funny.
Since then I do let them loose on the laptop but I’m listening constantly and make sure that they are dressed appropriately and edit anything that brings on ‘mummy concerns’. Their addiction to YouTube was something I had to address early on but I understand their attraction when they see many other children posting videos of opening toys or playing pranks. To my children these other kids that they were watching were the coolest thing ever. When Mum was a kid the coolest thing was creating the moves for the coca cola yoyo or having the full set of the garbage pail kids. If your child is wanting to explore the internet and computers then read this first.
Louis loves dinosaurs, he thinks he will be king one day and his values on this subject are quite cute. His favourite pizza is Teenage Mutant Ninja Pizza (lazy cooking days for Mum). In early years he loved to wear dresses and Bella put fake make up on him but that’s just kids and it really means nothing if you are concerned by this sort of behaviour. I found it cute and funny but the alpha male in the house was not impressed at the time. Now Louis loves Star Wars except he actually pronounces it Star Whores which is funny till he screams it out as loud as possible in a busy supermarket!
A complete opposite to Bella, Louis will constantly tells you how much he loves you and is in awe of everything. Now it is Autumn he is amazed at the colours and the crunch of the leaves, he thinks bugs are great and wants to drive a tractor as he thinks they are awesome. He’s not a fan of wasps after a recent incident when his screams silenced a beer garden on a sunday lunch but thankfully a very kind mummy helped us with Tweezers to get the stinger out.
At 8 weeks old he contracted viral meningitis which was heartbreaking, within a couple of hours from being normal his skin looked like marble you can read more HERE.
I love listening to him create and sing his songs for me which if I get chance to catch him on camera I will share for you.
